Firstly, Happy New Year to you and family!!
Due to other serving commitment, I need to be excused from the class - therefore our helper sister Maria is our teacher for this Sunday.
Here is the updates from Maria; Many thanks and Great Job to her!!
=== BEGIN ===
We started the Sunday class with our faithful prayers to the Lord on the first day of the year!
Then we focused on Matthew 2:1-12 which was the story of the three wise men worshiping Jesus.
Boys and girls all read loud and then participated detailed review of this part of the Bible verses with a list each under Who/When/Where/What/Why/How(ways to worship) etc.
To reenforce this theme we worked on two crossword puzzles together,
one was with 10 words all from Matthew 2: 1-12, the other one included 15 words covering various words about Jesus's birth which we have been learning
since the begining of this quarter.
The two teams, the Babalababa team and the Fire Eagle team,
all worked hard and smartly while competing each other. Without looking at the Bible they worked out all except one word.

After that, each of the two teams chose one of the ways of worshiping God from the list we had under "How" and worked on it with the play dough provided.
Each team presented their works afterward.
Everyone participated. Both teams got score of 5 on different categories including participation, 3D, colorfulness, artistics, creativity, presentation etc.
The lunch of the day was pasta.
Praise the Lord we had a great time durning the first Sunday school this year.
